- Programs Remarks - The BACHE Cooperative Course Exchange Program dramatically expands the variety of course offerings available to students within the Consortium's colleges and universities which include Birmingham-Southern College, Samford University, University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Montevallo and Miles College.
Full-time students enrolled at a BACHE Institution who are in good academic standing at the home campus may, with written permission from their academic advisor and Dean and at no additional charge, take a course at another BACHE campus if it is deemed to be beneficial to the student's overall educational program.
The Asian Studies curriculum is particularly relevant today for its emphases on the changing traditions of Asia, the contemporary problems faced by the nations of Asia, and the complex relationships between Asian nations and between Asia and the West. Courses offered in the curriculum cover East, South, and Southeast Asia.
