인사말

안녕하세요!

전 불가리아에서 온 도브린이라고 합니다. 저는 소피아 대학교 새로생긴 아시아학과에서 전공하고 있고 특히 한국어와 힌디어를 배우는것입니다. 제 생일은 3월 31일이고 올해 22살입니다. 잘 부탁드립니다.

자기소개

3년전에 소피아대학교에서 새로 생긴 전공에 입학을 했습니다. 이 특별한 전공에 입학을 하고 나서 제 인생을 완전히 변하게 되었습니다. 첫번째 학년이 시작하자마자 남,동, 남동 아시아의 경제을 비롯하여 정치, 문화 및 언어에 대해 배우기 시작했습니다. 지금까지 한국어를 배우는 것이 3년이 됐지만 한국어 말하는 실력이 아직도 부족해서 갈 길이 많이 있습니다. 실력은 부족하지만 노력을 많이 합니다. 따라서 이야기하는 방법이 익숙하도록 한국드라마를 볼 뿐아니라 새로운 내용을 공부하며 한국 글을 읽습니다. 대학교에 한국 수업이 별로 없지만 포기하는 것이 절대 안돼서 열심히 합니다.

우리 전공에는 한국어 외에 힌디어, 중국어, 일본어, 말레이어나 베트남어를 공부하는 것을 가능합니다. 또한 이 나라들에 대해 여러까지 수업에 등록할수 있고요. 저는 이 다 나라에 관심이 있지만 다 배울 수는 없겠죠. 그래서 저는 한국어와 힌디어를 선택했습니다. 제 선택이 이렇게 되었더라도 다른 아시아의 언어와 문화를 배우하고자 합니다. 그러므로 2016년 8월 29일부터 인도네시아에 유학할 예정입니다.

나의 고향

제 고향의 이름이 슬리벤이라고 하며 동불가리아에 위치한 도시입니다. 슬리벤의 인구는 9만명이며 작고 매력이 있는 도시입니다. 과거에 불가리아 독립에 싸운 혁명지도가 많아서 혁명지도자100명의 도시로 유명합니다. 불가리아에 갈 계흭이 있으신 분이 있으면 저에 연락하세요! 슬리벤을 꼭 보여줄것입니다.

나의취미

취미는 그냥 별로 없습니다. 가끔식 독서를 하고, 친구를 만납니다. 여가시간에 등산이나 산책을 하는 것을 좋아하지만 시간이 없어서 자주 못합니다. 하지만 한국드라마를 매일 봅니다.

가족

제 가족은 3명이고 엄머닙, 남동생과 저입니다. 하지만 친척이 많아서 총 11명이고요. 애완동물 아주 좋아해서 개2마리와 고양이도2마리를 키웁니다.

AKS에서 같이 사는 친구

AKS방을 공유하는 친구는 파리스라고 합니다. 룸메이트가 최고입니다!!! 파리스는 저보다 나이가 2살이 많으며, 성격이 급하지 않고, 친절하고, 재미있는 친구입니다. 사실은 친형이나 다름이 없습니다. 우리는 성격이 아주 비슷해서 참 좋습니다! 매일 같이 웃고, 여러가지 이야기를 하면서 관계가 더 좋아해지기를 바랍니다. 향후 이런 관계를 유지했으면 좋겠습니다.

체험 후기

한국의 풍속

지난 주에 한국의 풍속에 대해서 재미있는 수업이 있었습니다. 수업은 „한국인 왜 저렇게 먹을까“라고 합니다. 첫번째로 배운 것은 한국인의 식사방식이였습니다. 밥상을 차릴때는 각각 음식 정확한 자리가 있습니다. 장례나 혼례가 다른 방법이 있습니다. 그 다음에는 한국 사람들이 식사 후에는 물을 마시는 것을 알게 돼서 진짜 놀랐습니다. 또한, 과거에 양반은 식사를 했을때는 소반을 사용하는 것을 배웠습니다. 백성의 음식과 달리 양반의 음식은 더 다양하였습니다. 옛날에 백제와 고려 사람들은 다른 수저를 사용했습니다. 예로는 백제에 사용한 숟가락 길이는 19.7cm이였고요. 백제와 고려에 쓴 숟가락을 비교하면 고려의 숟가락이 10cm 정도 더 길었습니다. 모양도 달라집니다. 더욱이 한국 식사가 항상 밥, 어떤 국과 반찬을 포함합니다. 게다가 반찬은 공짜입니다. 불가리아에 있는 한국 식당에 가면 반찬을 추가 시키면 돈을 내야 됩니다, 왜 그렇을까요? 이 수업이 아주 재미있었습니다. 선생님은 정보를 자세히 말해 주었습니다.

KBS수원센터 견학

지난 목요일에 수원에 위치한 KBS센터를 다녀 왔습니다. 거기에 가서 드라마나 영화에 관련된 여러기지를 봤습니다. 저는 드라마를 많이 좋아하니까 이 체험이 진짜 마음에 들었습니다. 첫번째로 본 것은 아침 드라마의 세트였습니다. 세트를 직접 볼 수가 있는 것은 처음이라서 아주 신기하였고 많은 사진을 찍었습니다. 그 다음에는 우리가 일기예보실에 가서 우리 중의 몇 명이 일기예보 아나운서로 직접 체험을 얻을 수 있단 말입니다. 일기예보실을 방문한 후에 우리는 옛날 드라마 세트로 이동했습니다. 이 세트를 처음 봤지만 세트를 보자마자 알아봤습니다.2012년의 유명한 드라마 각시탈의 몇 장면은 거기에서 촬영됐습니다. 또한, 이 드라마에 쓴 탈을 써 봤습니다. 이렇게 탈을 쓰고 나니 각시탈이 된 것 같은 느낌이 들었습니다. 결국에 다들함께 단체로 사진을 찍었습니다. 아아앙 맞아! 저는 KBS센터에 갔을 때 거기에 있는 클럽인 “카사블랑카”에 연예인으로 지원했는데 결과는 아직 기다리는 중입니다. 혹시 오디션이 어떻게 돼냐면 춤과 노래를하였는데 청중에 제일 영향을 끼치는 것은 제 춤이였다고 들었습니다. 그러므로 우승가능성이 높다고 생각하니까 1등으로 나올 경우는 다음주부터 연애인으로서 경력을 쌓을 예정이라서 선생님과 조교들에게 미리 알려 드리는 것을 좋다고 생각합니다. 농담농담~~*

답사

This chapter shall be dedicated to the magnificent field trip we had. I beg to be excused for writing in English, but this time I really want to express my deepest impressions of the 체험. During the past three days all of us went to the 지방답사to experience the non-capital way of living in Korea, which I found to be really different and cute itself. I have heard and watched so much about Seoul lifestyle but never heard of the countryside one and was eager to feel it myself. In a slow pace I will share my thoughts about the lifelong experience.

Day 1 – Yongin Folk Village, Anapji

The first stop was Yongin Korean Folk Village. A really amazing site devoted to the Joseon Dynasty. The site was equipped with everything from traditional looking, but contemporary 편의점 to the old houses with old straw roofs. Firstly we were given a free time to look around. I spent 30 minutes looking around and wooah-aah-ing the really nice idea of the Government to build such a place that can transfer you to another dimension. Just walking among the old muddy and straw houses I felt the Joseon spirit grabbing my hand and making me enter almost every house so that I can get maximum experience of it. Oh, yeah! The idea of people wearing traditional clothes and working there, as well as the existence of cattle in the village was a surprising thing to find. I consider this a bright whim because it intensifies the feeling of old Joseon. We reached the area of the traditional performances and I took pleasure to see a horse riding performance and Pungmul – traditional farmers’ dance and music. Pungmul was a first experience. The most loving fact about it besides its uniqueness of course, was that the performers communicated with the audience while performing. The same goes for the horse riding performance – a game between audience and skillful horse riders. The next landscape was Anapji area- a summer residence of the Silla royalty. A really calming, beautiful and breath-taking tourist area that makes you relax and just enjoy the sun setting behind your back. Ah, a lot of 사진 were taken there – a very good ones though! What I liked about this area the most is that is gorgeous in its simplicity. You practically enjoy it because it is simple – traditional Korean buildings combined in perfect symbiosis with flowers, a pond and trees. A place where you are obliged to forget all the hardships and enjoy the royal embrace of Silla.

DAY 2 – Around Gyeongju

Truthfully speaking, hotness overload!!!! And it was even hotter when all of us went out because we are smart, eager to learn…well and HOT. And when we met the natural sun, and it was 어머나 세상에… So, that day we visited some landscapes dedicated to Silla history. We started with an observatory constructed by Queen Seon Deok. Then we visited대릉원 – 천마총. I have to notethat it is really amazing how people back then were able to build such funeral homes for their kings and queens. When I saw the huge engraved stones inside the tomb I wondered how was it even possible to convey them form the seaside. After these sites, we stopped at Gyeongju National Museum- a pure perfection in terms of museum architecture. It was spacious, full of artifacts and most importantly well-organized so that you cannot miss a building or an exhibition. There we were able to see a lot from ancient Silla to the slightest details! Here comes the best part – 동해! I really enjoyed it, because all of us, as a team were able to laugh, share moments, and again laugh and take lots of photos. Some of us swam, some of us took the photos. A moment where we were together as one team, that is why I liked this part.

The last day we visited Buddhist temples, a new scene to my eyes, since I have never been to a temple. Two places full of calmness that you can spend a day there and consider all your life plans.

The Guide Lady- I want to say on behalf of everybody – she is the best. She explained in an excellent tone, slow pace so that everyone gets the contents. Please send her our regards once more.

THE BEST OF THE 답사!!!! There are two best things about this trip which were more worth than seeing the landmarks. Firstly, I really really like that we were able to gather in the hotel’s hallway and discuss different topics as well as share some more about ourselves. Because the internet was broken and not working, I had the chance to know some of the people in the program and I reaaaaaaaaaally liked it a lot. We played games, stayed late, shared stories. I also consider that one of the aims of this program is to get people together, so this field trip was the most perfect timing for that and was a success. Thank you for giving us this opportunity AKS Program Coordinators.

ROOMMATE DURING THE TRIP! Thank you for teaming me up with Sopanha <3! At first I was really not looking for this, because I have barely spoken to him. However, only after 5 minutes spending with him, my thoughts proved totally wrong. I wish to say that he is the person that deserves the most to be a participant of this program. He is sweet, nice, a smart ass, out-going, really easy-going, talkative and very considerate (during breakfast he brought me orange juice and salad without me asking him^^). We talked a lot about ourselves, shared some moments and of course laughed a lotttt. P.S. He is very funny when he sleeps though!

Career Development in Korean Studies

In this class we discussed several different topics. We started with the lecturer asking us where we were from, why we chose Korean studies etc. Then in a slow pace he started explaining about the Korean studies development and educational development in general. We also discussed the place of Korean Studies in the global world next to Chinese and Japanese Studies. The part that I did not like is the anti-Japanese propaganda. Out of the blue, somehow he twisted the class’ topic from Korean studies development into a class dealing with Japanese-Korean relations. I firmly believe that it was not part of the idea of the class. So, in the end, a beautiful lady explained us about the possibilities to master our studies in the Academy. This personally I found most important and interesting.

Korean Meal Cooking Class

The cooking class was very interesting. We learned how to make Korean food and then enjoyed what we have made by eating it. For lunch we ate bibimbap, which is one of my favourite dishes. The teacher was a well-mannered lady and she explained perfectly, not in a difficult Korean, so that everybody gets what she says. Then divided into groups we went to experience the Korean cooking and I have to say that pajeon we cooked was very delicious and I ate the bibimbap with great enjoyment. After the lunch we stolled in a museum dedicated to the President of Korea and Blue House. It was funny and interactive because you can experience being a president or being next to the president for some time, and of course we have some videos and photos from there.

Classes

The Korean Class was one of the things that I really looked forward to and as expected it lived up to my expectations. Although I was in the Elementary level and knew all the grammar we studied, I want to say that I learnt new material thanks to the sweet and charming teacher we had. She is a good educator and helped us a lot during our learning trip here. We had to make two presentations, one 3 minutes and one 10 minutes. I personally find this very useful because it develops further our speaking abilities. She gave us a lot of explanation, enough examples and of course plenty of homework. Everybody looked with impatience to her class because it was fun, entertaining and full of good memories!
