The author is very much interested in finding new meanings of Korean early printing culture through proper understanding and restoration. Publications include Joseonsidae chaekui munhwasa (Cultural History of Joseon Books, co-authored), Gyujanggakgwa chaekui munhwasa (Cultural History of Books and Gyujanggak, co-authored), Seungchongmyeongnokeuro boneun Joseonhugi hyangchon jisikinui saenghwalsa (Lives of Late Joseon Rural Village Intellectuals Seen through Seungchongmyeongnok, co-authored), “A Comprehensive Study on Saseoeonhae publiched in the 17th century”, “A Study on the Artisans of Movable Type Printing Working at the Joseon Print Office,” and so on.
