On 29th July every participants finally get to join the field trip to go to Gyeongju(One of the historic province in Korea). Everyone start off from 9:30am but we did not just go straight to Gyeongju, we departed from AKS and went to 용인 한국민속촌 first. It was pretty bad visiting there because of the bad weather that keep raining for the whole morning. However, we did enjoy seeing all the traditional houses, farms, music, and especially wedding in the area.

After visited 용인 한국민속촌, we went to eat pasta for lunch. It was one of the best day because we get to eat pasta. 1hour after eating, we got on the bus and sat there for a long time because it was time to went to Gyeongju. To get to Gyeongju it might take 4 hours and a half but we didn't go straight, we also went to the rest area(선산휴게소). It was pretty big and they got like 4 men toilets and 4 women toilets, not to mention the landscape they got. It was really the best area for resting.

We continued our trip until we reach Gyeongju at around 6pm. Because it was dinner time so we get to eat dinner at one of the delicious restaurant. We divided into 3 groups due to different taste(Pork, Duck, Bibimbab).

After dinner we went to the biggest park in Gyeongju called 안압지. The weather in Gyeongju was very very hot and no wind blowing at all. I had a rough time walking at the park due to the weather and also the size of the park was really large. It was one of the prettiest park I've ever visited in Korea. There were also a lot of people visited there, too.

We went there until late evening then reached the hotel around 9pm. It was The K Hotel which is resemble to a 3 stars hotel. Each rooms has 3 participants. The room was large and we all felt comfortable except the part that the wifi cannot access into every rooms so we have to get out from the room in order to surf the internet. Because almost everyone went out from the room and sitting at the hallway it was pretty funny and the hotel staffs even came and warn us not to sitting outside like homeless people. But how are we suppose to do when the room does not has wifi?

It was such a tired day for us so after entering the room most of us fell asleep. In the morning of the next day, we went to paradise. I am not kidding, we really did. Since the time we all arrived and stayed in Korea, this is the first time that everybody got up and eat breakfast altogether. It was so delicious and the atmosphere was also good. If someone ask me which part is the best when I went to Gyeongju, I will definitely answer the morning part because of the high standard and western style breakfast.

At 9:30am we started our Gyeongju trip by going to 천마총,대릉원,첨성대 and also national museum in Gyeongju in the morning. Finally, I got to see the bell made by 선덕왕 which also known as 에밀레종 and also the crown worn in Silla generation. The weather was very hot but because I got to see the real things that I had only known through book, I think it was a great thing to went there.

In the afternoon we went to 문무대왕릉 and 주상절리. Eventhough we did not get to enjoy the day due to the hot weather, we were really happy because we can get to the beach in 동해(East Sea). The water was cool and the wind keep blowing in every second. It would be better if they told us that we were going to go to the beach, because no one know about this nor bring their clothes to change on the beach.

The last day in the morning we went to 불국사 and 석굴암. It was another hot day and tired day for us because we also need to claim the mountain in the temple. The temple was pretty big and full of nature. I was really disappointed because we did not see the inside of 석굴암. It was all cover by the glass and we just claim the mountain by nothing. Also, in 불국사 we only get to see 다보탑 because 석가탑 is in reconstruction mode. It was not that good as I expected it to be.

After that we went back to the AKS campus around 6pm and eat outside. We get to eat seafood noodle for dinner near our campus and it was so delicious. These 3 days were we spent so much fun and we would never regret going there. It's just we really hope the weather would be nice and the guide would speak with microphone so everyone can hear her explanation.
