1. Program (Korea-related degree offered) : Minor in Asian Studies
   • Program Remarks - The minor in Asian Studies is an interdisciplinary program, drawing courses from several academic departments including Modern Languages and Cultures (Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages), History, Geography, Geology and the Environment, Philosophy, Political Science, English (literature and film), and Interdisciplinary Programs. The minor in Asian Studies will provide you with expertise in the languages, cultures, history, and traditions of Asia.
   1. Korea-related Courses : KORN 101 - Korean Language and Culture I
      • Course Remarks - This course is the first in a three course series which will provide an introduction to the Korean language.
   2. Korea-related Courses : KORN 102 - Korean Language and Culture II
      • Course Remarks - This course is the second in a three course series which will provide an introduction to the Korean language.
   3. Korea-related Courses : KORN 103 - Korean Language and Culture III
      • Course Remarks - This course is the third in a three course series which will provide an introduction to the Korean language.
   4. Korea-related Courses : KORN 202 - Intermediate Korean I
      • Course Remarks - Comprehensive review of Korean grammar with emphasis on developing the students’ abilities for proficient oral and written accomplishments.
   5. Korea-related Courses : HIST 381 - EAST ASIAN MILITARY TRADITIONS
      • Course Remarks - This course examines the factors that have distinguished East Asian military practices from the fifth century BCE to modern times.
