This week we finally went to Gyeongju. To be honest I was excited for this trip from the very beginning when our AKS adventure had started. In Poland, and also here, I took lessons about Korean history; therefore, it was an unforgetable experience and opportunity to see the buildings and historical treasures in real, not in the history book. Although the weather was boiling hot and I could barely stand it, the trip was worth it!

The first day blew me away. The Anapji area was just mesmerizing, it literally took my breath away, especially after the sunset when the light were on and the buildings reflected beautiifully on the lake waters. I cannot even find the right words to express my feelings. I just love sightseeing and it was a wonderful experience for me. I somehow felt like I traveled in time to ancient times. Definately I will not forget that place and it will stay in my memory for a very long time.

The second day was as great as the first one. We went to see the royal tombs. Afterwards, we went to the beach, which was so refreshing and helped me regain my energy. I wish we could stay there longer because we did not have a chance to swim and enjoy the sea long enough.

On the third day we went to Bulguksa temple and Seokguram grote. It was very educational experience, because it brought us closer to the people who built the places and who actually lived there many years ago.

What is more, I really enjoyed staying in the same room with Mercedes and Jeilei. I think that after the trip we all become even closer than before.

I wish that someday in future I could come back there with my family and share my wonderful expierience with them.
