Study Abroad

  1. Program (Korea-related degree offered) : 2016 Korea Exchange
    • Programs Remarks - The summer program begins with National Departure Orientation in a major US city on July 15. The following day delegates and chaperone(s) fly as a group to Seoul, South Korea. They arrive on July 17th and participate in a two night arrival orientation led by Korea 4-H, which includes an introduction to Korean culture and basic language phrases. Afterwards, delegates meet their Korea 4-H host family and begin their homestay. Delegates also attend 4-H International Camp for 2-3 days where they will meet other foreign delegates and participate in cultural exchange activities. The program concludes with sightseeing in Seoul and a departure debriefing before the group return flight home.
  2. Program (Korea-related degree offered) : Global Service in Korea (TaLK) Program
    • Programs Remarks - The Teach and Learn Korea (TaLK), program is jointly sponsored by the MU Asian Affairs Center and Office of Service-Learning. TaLK is a Korean government scholarship program known as Teach and Learn in Korea. The program seeks to train native English teachers and overseas Koreans to teach practical English in after-school classes at rural elementary schools.
