- Program Remarks - Dankook University (DKU), founded in 1947, is an up-and-coming, private research University in South Korea, just outside the capital city of Seoul. The International Summer School (ISS) at DKU offers the opportunity to participate in a range of experiences, such as: an internship teaching English to DKU students, intensive courses taught in English, and Korean language courses.
