   1. Korea-related Courses : ENGL 317 / FILM 317 Modern East Asian Literature and Cinema 3
      • Courses Remarks - This course introduces students to the significant cultural, social, political, and aesthetic developments in Modern East Asia through the study of major works of 20th and 21st century Chinese, Japanese, and Korean literature and film. We will also consider memoirs, writings of political theory, sociology, religion, and history.
   2. Korea-related Courses : HIST 336 Traditional East Asia Prehistory-1800
      • Courses Remarks - This course traces pre-modern development of East Asian political, economic and social institutions, explores the formation of shared East Asian cultural identity, and depicts how trade and cultural contacts with the West set the stage for the region's globalization in modern time.
   3. Korea-related Courses : POLS 348 Politics of East Asia
      • Courses Remarks - This course examines and compares environmental-cultural causes, current political systems, sociopolitical development of the countries in this area, such as China, Japan and Korea. In addition, it explores the collective impact of these countries on world politics(not offered on a regular basis)
