1. Program (Korea-related degree offered) : Asian Culinary Arts Certificate
   • Program Remarks - The programe explores Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, Thai, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Korean, and fusion cuisine. This certificate is designed to prepare students for entry-level careers as cooks in the hotel/restaurant/food service industry.
   1. Korea-related Courses : Directed Ensemble 5 (MUSC 3190)
      • Course Remarks - Students participate in an upper level directed ensemble related to their concentration to be chosen from the following: VCC Concert Choir, Madrigal Singers, Orchestra, New Music Ensemble, Gamelan Ensemble, Korean Ensemble, and Latin Jazz Ensemble.
   2. Korea-related Courses : Korean 1 (LANG 1126)
      • Course Remarks - Learn the Korean alphabet “Hangeul”, and build a vocabulary in an atmosphere of listening and speaking Korean. Participate in class activities and have fun learning basic Korean and Korean culture.
   3. Korea-related Courses : Korean 2 (LANG 1127)
      • Course Remarks - The course expands your vocabulary and learn basic grammar points such as verb conjugations and sentence patterns. Master reading short pas-sages and writing sentences while getting familiar with Korean language and culture.
   4. Korea-related Courses : World Music 2 (MUSC 3206)
      • Course Remarks - A continuation of World Music 1 with a focus on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean traditional and contemporary cultural practices.
